Symptoms
The error message above appears when using Ferrysoft Help Desk.
Cause
This is caused by the <pages> element of a configuration file (Machine.config or Web.config) being different to the standard default configuration. Typically this occurs if another application is installed that explicitly creates a Web.config at the site level. Microsoft CRM is an example of an application that does this.
Resolution
This issue is resolved in Ferrysoft Help Desk 1.0.3.
